I have known this boy for 4 years, we’ve been out together once and ext a bit. A year ago I told him I like him and he said thank you 
(I know let down). Then he text me asking if I was ok. We’ve spoken on and off since. We have been testing a lot but I think I’ve been a bit intense recently. So I want to give him some space. No texting or talking to him in school. Is this a good idea? How long should I do it for? I’m 17 he is 18. Waiting 4 years isn’t a big deal because I couldn’t imagine being in a relationship with anyone but him.
Open Question: How much space should I give him?
