Last year (February 2012 exactly) I saw a really good looking man working at a certain grocery store as a department manager. I guess we felt a mutual attraction because we both stared (and occasionally smiled) at one another whenever we would see each other. Then, I decided to hit on him and asked for his number and if he was interested in me. He was all smiles and all happy and we exchanged numbers. No one ever called the other.
Now it is 2013, and throughout all this time, I see him occasionally when I go to the store and we still do the whole staring thing to one another. For a few months I cut the outings to the store because I was in a relationship, but I just ended that relationship.
I think this whole staring/crush thing has lasted longer than it should, no? Why do you think that is?
Open Question: Why is he still into me after so long?
