Open Question: what do you do if someone *might* be taking an interest in you but you are in a relationship?

I’m curious to know what happens in these situations.

Say you are in a relationship. And someone at your work or school is starting to show an interest in you and seems to like you. But there is never a time when you can bring up a conversation where they will find out that you have a bf/gf. They are assuming you don’t.

What are you supposed to do? They will start liking you more and it will be worse. How do you let them know?
