So I auditioned for the play Frankenstein. Not a musical. Its for college students only in that college. Tuesdays and thursdays were auditions. I went tuesday. I auditioned for the part of Victor’s fiance. Victor is the guy who creates Frankenstein.I read a scene with a guy trying out for victor. It was a 3 page scene between me and him. The director said good and to find two other guys to read another scene with us. We found guy 1 and guy 2 and began to practice. In this scene, I only came out in the first page. By the way, it was all a cold reading. I had around 5 lines in this second scene. But when we finished practicing, guy 1 told me «you have a beautiful voice» and then guy 2 agreed and he went on about how he liked my voice and if I sing. Which was weird because it’s not a musical. I was just speaking not singing. He told me my voice fit perfect to the role. He said my voice was «very feminine and soft.» He even told me «I’m gonna call you ANGELic now».We went to do the cold reading and the director said «awesome. Guys, feel free to auditon for any other roles». Guy 2 said «you totally got the part» to me even though he only heard me say like five lines. No he doesnt like me, he has a gf.So thursdays were callbacks.I didn’t get a callback. I’ve worked with the director in 3 plays, I had a big role in one of them and a bunch of small ones in the others. There werent any callbacks in those 3 plays. But this one there was. I didn’t get one…I was so confident about my audition…does it seem like I didnt get the part?
Open Question: I didn't get a callback.... 10 points. need advice?
