Hi everyone, please help me out im 21 and i believe he is 22. Anyways, I am dating this guy who’s white (race matters because of cultural differences) and I’m hispanic. We have gone on two dates and both times he asked me to hang out. For our first date, we went to a bar to play pool and have a drink (he paid for it). Then tonight we went to play mini golf and bowling. he has a job, but he kind of commented when he was playing for the mini golf and said (i dont know if i have enough). I just stayed quiet, but he did have enough. Mini golf was fun then we were trying to find something to do afterwards, so I said bowling. He then said he didnt want to spend that much money. I said I would pay my half then we went to bowling and i to ld him i would pay for both of us. At bowling it got a little awkward and honestly i was a little bothered by him not paying. I feel more traditional like a man has to pay especially IF he is trying to impress. I thought he was friend zoning me, but at the same time I thought MAYBE he has a good excuse and doesn’t have enough. Anyways, this was barely the second date. He dropped me off at home and was touching my waist and then kissed me (on the lips) before he left. He didn’t text me or anything. The first day we went on he had kissed me and i could tell he could tell i felt uncomfortable (so he texted me and apologized). Anyways, I just feel it’s awkward because he hasn’t said «i like you» or anything. How do i know if he sees me as girlfriend potential, friend, or booty call? Should i just talk to him about it? THis is barely the second date and we have some mutual friends but other than that we dont really know eachother too well. He is a psych major and im social work. I am really attracted to him and i would want it to work im just scared im getting used again. I havent had a boyfriend in 5 years, so i dont want to get my hopes up.
Open Question: date? girlfriend or not? am i his booty call??hmmm?
