Open Question: Question Regarding Dating?

I have been dating my boyfriend for about a month and I usually go to his place to chill, study, watch movies, and make dinner. We met both sides of the family and play sports together. We have a long distance relationship and we constantly call one another and text.

He enjoys making out and cuddling, which I am usually okay with it but not responsive. He constantly jokes that I am like a sponge sucking up all his affection but doesn’t seem to mind too much. Once in awhile, he’ll be like do you like it or you can at least smile. He is usually on top of me and enjoys french kissing me, hugging me, and kissing my neck and ears. During this time, I will just hug him or rub his back with my fingers, rarely do I return his kiss, or give in to my tongue. I also have my eyes open and am usually looking into the corner of the room. Once he touched my rear, and I will kindly put his hand onto my stomach and he will understand the nonverbal communication. Just recently he did it again but I did not stop him so he just touched it and removed it. He usually has his private part on one of my thighs and I can feel it and recently he will use his legs to spread my apart as he lays on top of me. He also moans and moves his lower body quite a lot and kisses very passionately. As mentioned, during this whole time I will literally just lie there like a dummy and rub my hands through his back, while he seems to be enjoying himself and me getting bored. Once, we made out quite passionately, but that was only once while the other times it was mostly him enjoying it.

I only see him about every other week for a weekend. It is very clear between the two of us that we are not having sex. We are both in our 20′s. I am just pretty confused because he is my first boyfriend, while he is more experienced with other girls, but has not done anything besides cuddling. He also told me very directly once that in general no guy will accept a girl that does not return the affection, but he is not like that. Instead, he has a greater appreciation for it. What exactly is he thinking and what does he want? Is he just showing me his love and displaying affection? Is he just super attracted to me?
